Effective Date: March 19, 2026
Fizeek is operated by Fizeek, Inc. ("Fizeek," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data when you use the Fizeek mobile application ("the App").
We collect only the information necessary to provide you with a functional, personalized workout tracking and social experience.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, full name, date of birth, and optionally a profile photo and bio. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the information you choose to share through Apple's sign-in service.
This includes exercises, sets, reps, weight, rep techniques, rest times, workout duration, cardio activities, personal records, workout splits, and any setup cues you create. This data is central to the App's purpose and is stored to track your progress over time.
If you use social features, we collect posts (including text and photos), comments, likes, follows, direct messages, and group conversation content. Your username, profile photo, and public posts are visible to other users.
We collect your push notification token (to send you notifications), device type and operating system, and crash or error reports to help us diagnose and fix issues. We may also collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how features are used and improve the App.
With your permission, we collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This data is shared with Meta (Facebook) to track app installs and optimize ad delivery. You can opt out of this tracking when prompted or at any time through your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
We use the information we collect to:
Provide the App's core features — storing your workouts, tracking your progress, managing your split, powering social features like posts and messaging, and delivering push notifications you've opted into.
Improve the App — analyzing crash reports and usage patterns to fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.
Communicate with you — sending transactional emails related to your account (such as password resets) and in-app notifications about activity relevant to you (such as when someone comments on your post).
Maintain safety — enforcing our Terms of Service, responding to reports of abusive content, and protecting the security of the App and its users.
Measure advertising — with your consent, using your device's advertising identifier to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and understand how users discover the App.
We use a limited number of third-party services to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
We may add analytics services in the future to better understand how the App is used. If we do, this policy will be updated and you will be notified.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not share your data with data brokers. With your consent, we share limited device data with Meta for the sole purpose of measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
Fizeek includes social features that allow you to share content with other users. When you use these features:
Your username, profile photo, and bio are visible to all users of the App, regardless of your privacy settings.
Profile privacy: You can make your profile private in Settings. When your profile is private, your posts, workout stats, and other content are visible only to your approved followers. Non-followers can still see your username, profile photo, and bio, and can request to follow you. When your profile is public, your posts are visible to all users.
Direct messages and group conversations are visible only to the participants in that conversation. If your profile is private, only your approved followers can send you direct messages. We do not monitor or read your private messages. However, we may access message content if required by law or when reviewing a report submitted by a participant in the conversation.
Workout data is private to you unless you explicitly choose to share it via a post.
You can block other users and report content at any time through the App.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services, including links shared by other users in posts or messages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Workout history, posts, messages, and profile information are stored so you can access them whenever you use the App.
If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data from our systems. This includes your profile information, workout data, posts, and messages. Messages you sent to other users may remain visible to those users, though your profile will be disassociated from them. Some data may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being overwritten, and we may retain limited data where required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse.
You can delete your account at any time from within the App by navigating to your profile settings. Account deletion removes your profile, workout data, posts, and associated content from the App. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you are unable to delete your account through the App, you may contact us at the email address listed below and we will process your request.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Our database employs row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Our infrastructure is hosted by Supabase on secure, managed servers with automatic daily backups.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data is processed and stored in the United States on infrastructure provided by Supabase. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.
Fizeek is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 16, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a user under 16 has created an account, please contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:
Access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — You can update your profile information directly in the App, or contact us to correct inaccuracies.
Deletion — You can delete your account and data as described in Section 07, or contact us to request deletion.
Portability — You can request your data in a portable format.
Objection — You can object to certain processing of your data where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
If you are a resident of California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of your data. As stated above, we do not sell personal data.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the legal bases of contract performance (providing the App's services), legitimate interest (improving the App and maintaining security), and consent (where applicable, such as for push notifications and advertising measurement).
Do Not Track: The App does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because, as a mobile application, we do not track users across third-party websites or services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means before the changes take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise your data rights, or have concerns about how your information is handled, please reach out.
